Bikes: 2008 Trek 1.5, 2010 Specialized Transition Comp

With the goal of losing the belly and improving fitness, I started running and cycling during 2009.  The motivation came from my old motocross friend, Patrik.  This year has been revolutionary for me.  Being an anti-gym guy and an outdoors adventurer, training outdoors has given me hope of recapturing fitness lost over the past 15 years.

In the near term, I plan to improve my swimming over the winter in order to compete in some local triathlons.  My strength is running(body type I guess) and I am working hard to improve the other two disciplines.

I am married to a women who has exposed me, a farm boy, to so much.  For which I am forever thankful.  We have a son that puts a smile on my face every day.  Life is good!
